Murder Mystery Weekends

Always a delightful treat for guests, The Lodge regularly partners with The Cloudcroft Light Opera Company to put on Murder Mystery weekends. During the event, registered guests will participate in a whodunnit mystery involving a cast of colorful characters and spanning both the hotel and the surrounding village of Cloudcroft. PRESS RELEASE – FROM SPACED OUT, INC. – March 2020
On December 18, 2020, exactly four hundred years, to the day, after the first settlers arrived in New England, the Marsflower is scheduled for lift off. After a lengthy application process, the semi-finalists for the Spaced Out Program, have been invited to The Lodge at Cloudcroft for the Marsflower Compact Conference. Hosted by the program’s founder, Musk Ocks, “Ox”, CEO of Spaced Out, Inc., the semi-finalists will compete for spots on the Marsflower/Pilgrim 1, the spaceship that will deliver them as the first Martians (colonizers of Mars). Is this group of explorers go for launch, or will murder interfere with their mission?

After much anticipation and preparation, the 2020 selection of the first Martians was aborted due to an unexpected planetary invader – COVID 2020. Therefore, in NOVEMBER OF 2023 – the rescheduled Marsflower Compact Conference is set to begin! The semi-finalists are scheduled to arrive at The Lodge at Cloudcroft for their long-awaited opportunity to compete for their seats on the Marsflower/Pilgrim 1. Who will earn an official Mission Patch, space out, and blast off on the first Marsflower mission on December 18, 2023 (exactly four hundred and three years, to the day, after the first settlers arrived in New England)?

Event & Package Details

Our newest murder mystery shall take place on Friday November 17th & Saturday November 18th.
Packages are as follows:
• Single Individual (Non-Lodging, per person) – $250.00
• Single Individual (Lodging) – $500
• A Couple – $800
• Three People, Single Room – $1,050
• Four People, Single Room – $1,400
An additional upgrade fee will be applied when booking a suite.
• Family Parlor Suite (two-room suite) – $69 Additional
• Luxury Suites (The Governor’s Suite or one of our Retreat Suites) – $129 Additional

Each package includes:
• Participation in the Murder Mystery Event
• Two Nights Lodging (for lodging packages)
• Two Champagne Socials, one each evening
• Two Dinners, one each evening
• Breakfast, prior to check-out at 11 AM

A welcome packet will be provided upon check-in.

We require 30 days notice for cancellations prior to arrival in order to avoid a $100 cancellation fee.
